About El Mawasem
What is El Mawasem?
El Mawasem is a family-run fresh produce supplier based in Beirut, Lebanon, with over 50 years of experience. It is led by manager Mahmoud Itani, the third generation of the Itani family in the produce trade.
Who do you supply?
We supply fresh fruits, vegetables and herbs to hotels, restaurants and cafés across Lebanon. We also offer special prices to NGOs.
Do you sell to individuals?

Products and quality
What products do you supply?
Leafy greens and salads, garden vegetables, fresh herbs and aromatics, mushrooms, citrus fruits, seasonal fruits, berries, tropical and exotic fruits, and imported specialty produce. See our full product list.
Do you supply local or imported produce?
Both. We source directly from growers across Lebanon and import directly from our partners worldwide.
Can you source specialty or hard-to-find products?
Yes. Tell us what your menu needs and we will source it for you.
How do you keep your produce fresh?
Our warehouse is ISO certified and our fridges are temperature controlled. We sort our products every day, and every order is checked by our team before it leaves.
Do you offer prepared produce, like peeled garlic?
Yes. We prepare some products for clients who want them ready to use, such as peeled garlic. Ask us about what you need.

Which areas do you deliver to?
We deliver across Lebanon, from South to North, along the coast from Saida to Batroun, from our base in Beirut.
How often do you deliver?
Every day, on our own fleet of vans.
Can I place a last-minute order?
For the occasional forgotten item or urgent request, call us and we will do our best to help.
Is there a minimum order?

Can you help us plan our menu?
Yes. As part of our service, we meet with your chef to plan dishes around what is in season and available.
